I know I will get in trouble but...
This is a reminder of what I don’t say enough. A reminder of our past, the happiness, anger, sadness, and joy we have shared.
The times life knocked us down and we picked each other up and
Walked on together
Of the long talks when we shared our hearts and promised to
Walk on together
Of the times we laughed until we cried and
Walked on together
Of the times “I just don’t get it” but still we
Walk on together
Of the times an insurmountable task reared its head, and we held each others hand, crossed another summit and
Walked on together
Of the times we wondered “what if ”… smiled and
Walked on together
Of the times your smile lifted my heart without even knowing it and we continue to
Walk on together
We have seen the sun rise over the mountains, set over the sea, hopes and dreams come and go, the loss of friends and family, the birth of new friends and family, the burden of school and work, trying to see too much in one weekend, living without, living with when we shouldn’t, good movies, bad movies, times of sadness, times of joy and always have
Walked on together
There is no one that can lift my spirits, be my strength in times of need, challenge me to be what I can be. No one that can say so much in your silence, or who I would rather share old and make new memories with, and definitely no one, through this wonderful maze of life, I would rather
Walk on with.
We have only just begun to explore…
