Happy Fathers' Day

I got good news from my heart doctor so I decided to get out and do a little exploring.  This is the route Jake and I walked.

Here are two pictures I got along the way.  I am pretty pumped about the baby turkey.

My 300 lens is out of commission and I had to use manual focus for both of these.  I am glad they work out... lucky.

I remember sitting on the door-step

lord mama’s off to work

Certain songs seem to resonate so deeply. When they play, they make you stop what you are doing… and listen.  

I am not going to be arrogant enough to act like I can thank Dad for all he has done for me.  It seems like every year I understand more and more that it is impossible to even begin.  But... Thank You... for everything, even the stuff I won't truly understand until I am older.
