A big couple of weeks.

Well, it has been a little while since I posted. Since I last posted we celebrated Maggie’s second birthday. It was great to get a lot of people together to hang out. Since then she has received her first war wound. She was chasing a ball, tripped, and fell into a fence. She received four stitches to her forehead but was a real trooper.

Jake and I went camping on the side of the lake on a secluded beach cove. Well, at least we tried. Apparently there was some miscommunication between the two of us. He thought the night was not for camping or sleeping but for swimming and getting totally caked in mud. Now, if I think he was dirty, well…he was probably really dirty. We decide that having him sleep in the tent might not be the best idea so we walked out in the dark. One great thing that happened was that Chuck found us after he went hunting in the same part of the park. It was nice to watch the sunset and talk around the fire.

Dan is finally taking advantage of being his own boss and is in Maine seeing the leaves change (I am so jealous). He has me camera so there are no recent pictures. I am still working towards my goal. Here is a hint, the camping trip was a step towards my goal.

We also celebrated Anna's and Kaitli's borthdays. Boy are they cute!!
