Selfish

Ok, so I am selfish. A new movie that is coming out is based on a book by John Krakauer, “Into the Wild”. I loved this book, it is about a guy who graduated college at the top of his class, gives up all is possession, wonders the country ending up in Alaska, trying to leave all this crap behind (geez that doesn’t sound like something I would like does it☺”. I am upset because I think people should have to read the book, earn the story of this unique man. I am sure, based on the director and actors, is will be a good movie, but, I am not sure if it is a story that will be done justice in two hours. It is something you have to take in slowly, digesting the emotions and feelings he felt along the way. Closing your eyes allowing yourself to be lost in his world, without our paradigm. Seeing how we tend to push those that are different away, and how if you don’t just go with the flow, it can be hard to find a place in our world. I am not sure if people will do that watching a movie.

I am sure it will be a great movie but…
