Maggie and the toad.

One goal for this summer is to make a subtle change from just landscapes to some actual wildlife photos. There is a strange excitement about trying to capture wildlife on film. It is really weird how much fun it can be. I now understand the reasoning behind peoples’ obsession about hunting. Although I would guess that I will never hunt animals in the traditional sense, I believe that I am hunting them with my camera. With that said here are some cheesy pictures of the common American toad. I will say that you should at least look at the toad on the stump as a background at least once. It actually looks pretty cool.

I am also hoping to get a little more text on the blog. I have been journaling some lately and hope to get some ideas to write about out of it. We will see, always a lot of ideas and hopes…very little time. I also want to give a congratulations to my cousin Heather and her husband Justin on their beautiful little boy named Harrison. As soon as I find out if I can post a picture of him I will.
