I hate New Year Resolutions but......

Well, another year done. Wow this one went fast!! There is a lot that I would like to say, but instead I will just share a few of my hopes for this New Year.

1) I hope that we often find ourselves in a place where it is OK to pee outside.
2) I hope the voice that haunted us this past year, whatever it said, is silenced.
3) I hope that we see our family more than we thought we wanted to.
4) I hope we appreciate how comfortable those uncomfortable silences can be.
5) I hope we learn to talk like our pets… to say so much without words.
6) I hope those that haven’t…find the peace that alludes them.
7) I hope we learn all that the young ones have to teach us.
8) I hope we remain frail enough to need each other.
9) I hope we find the courage to see what we are supposed to be, and know what to do when we see it.
10) I hope we question and fight the paradigm.
11) I hope they find a way to make quarter pounders fat free.
12) I hope we forget an umbrella at least once so we remember how the rain can feel.
13) I hope we start to take care of the earth the way it takes care of us.
14) I hope we see an angel in any form.
15) I hope we all find a hand to hold.
16) I hope we learn slow things down.
17) I hope we all become explorers of this world and each other.
18) I hope we have a good year.
