For those of you who know me, you already know I like to pick a bird to capture with the camera. My newest conquest is the Herring. I picked them because they are a big bird that makes a lot of noise, so how hard could it be to get a good picture. What I didn't know was that they apparently have VERY good eye sight. This can make it tough to get close to them. This picture took about 1.5 hours to get. It would not have taken so long if I didn't have to cross a field of mud. I sacrificed a sock for this creature, but still it left when I got closer than this picture. Posted by Hello
